Color Inspiration - Pastel Whimsy
A work in progress, this carousel horse was documented step by step until it reached its completion.
I like the way we can see the details, the carving, and soft pastel colors of this whimsical horse. In this stage of building before the placement in the carousel ride, we get a steady look, a rare sight. We often see people go swiftly around the ride, only catching a glimpse of the characters.
The sweet colors of the horse reminded me of my string of crocheted tube beads. Creating a wire cuff bracelet out of 18-gauge round enameled craft wire, with tube beads threaded together through the middle. It is also secured by threading 24-gauge round enameled craft wire through and around the center section of the cuff. This keeps the design stable with a little room for adjustment to the wrist. Pony up and leap to new inspirations from whimsical visions.
